Ninty's Animal-tastic New Creation, Animal Crossin

Ninty's animal-tastic new creation, Animal Crossing, is basically the Japanese N64 game "Animal Forest." Yes, you heard it here first (unless you know your stuff :D)

The game is basically completely open-ended. You are given a tiny house with hardly any furniture in a villiage full of sickly sweet animals. Do whatever you want! Beat the moosh outta people with a spade or become a furniture tycoon? It's all up to you!

Well I had been looking forward to this game for as long as I can remember but I was suprisingly dissappointed! I was completely enthralled by the game as I booted it up and listened to the hypnotic high-pitched animal voices and the "Oh-So-Cute" surroundings. Well, I felt that way for about a week...

After a week I started to get pretty bored. I was tired of doing the same old routine and this was mainly because the game is in real time. It takes so long for anything to happen and unless you keep jumping around in time by changing the NGC's internal clock and even that gets boring once you have done all of the festivals.

My advice.... try before you buy! If you are gripped in a while of playing it, buy it. If not, steer well clear!

Animal Crossing Is Made And Published By Your Very

Animal Crossing is made and published by your very own Nintendo. This is totally obvious because of the uncommon ability to suprise gamers with its new and unique gameplay. The game basically revolves round YOU, your life and what you do with it! You decide what happens in Animal Crossing, how friendly you are, how lazy you want to be and even how wealthy you want to be! And it doesn't end there because it also contains the ability to play the game with three other friends which is totally cool! (Especially when you lay traps to catch them out!!) But, WARNING: THIS GAME TAKES UP ALL OF YOUR SOCIAL LIFE!!

I Didn't Have Any Idea What To Expect When I Got T

I didn't have any idea what to expect when I got this Animal Crossing the gamecube game. What the heck is this game about? How do you play? What's the objective? As soon as I started playing, my questions were answered. A magnificent game was discovered right before my very own eyes. I was once again experiencing the glory of gaming.

Your character can do many things in your very own village. You can catch bugs, you can catch fish, and here's the worst part, you work...For a scary looking racoon. This racoon is Tom Nook. His name gets quite annoying after a while. You live in one of Tom Nook's houses. So it's obvious what you must do for him. Pay him debt. But after your debts. are paid off, he offers you expansions. After all, who can live in a house like the one at the beginning of the game?

One of my favorite things to do in this game is whack my neighbor in the head with my net. This ticks them off, but leave the acre, and come back after a while, and they'll act like it never happened no matter how many times you whacked 'em in the first place.

Another cool thing in the game is how time works. Time flies as fast/slow as it does in real life. On special occasions (usually holidays) Tortimer, the village mayor, will give you stuff. At other times, such as X-mas, a special visitor will give you stuff. Or just cheat you.

The absolute best part of the game is when you pay off all your debt for all the expansions. I'm not gonna spoil it for you, so find out yourself!

Animal Crossing, Is The Update To Animal Forest Th

Animal Crossing, is the update to Animal Forest that was released in Japan a couple of years ago.

The main benefit to the update was it allowed Nintendo to ship it around the world. However us European's have missed out on this little gem of a title.

If you wish to order this game use www.cd-wow.com you get a free memory card it costs £35.00 inc's delivery and it's also PAL!

Animal Crossing starts with you on a train deciding what to do when you arrive in the town. When you arrive you have the choice of 3 houses, obviously you will need to earn money so you can get a job or earn cash by helping out around your town.

The game is linked to the real time clock on the gamecube and certain dates are reflected in the game, halloween you see neighbours putting out pumpkins, you see fireworks on the 5th November, Christmas trees spring up, it's all a truely amazing experience to see. But when you play also effects the game you play, play in the evening and the time is reflected in the game, so it will probably be dark, people in beds and lights out. Everything is what a real world should be!

If you have a GameBoy Advance you can link it up with the GameCube and play Animal Island which allows you to gain new items to place in your house, design clothing or use the e-card reader to add other items.

The biggest let down is the Graphics, while not next gen, they do have a certain Nintendo feel but don't expect the visuals to blow you away.

What you are buying is a world on your cube nothing else can compare to the experience, it is that good

The Game Itself Offers Little In The Way Of "actio

The game itself offers little in the way of "action". There is minimal amount of work to be done in your village each day and a lot of the tasks can seem a little, hmm... repetative? But this is the beauty of the game-once you're finished for the day, you can't wait to get back and do it all again tomorrow!

Animal Crossing For The Nintendo Gamecube Really I

Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Gamecube really is fantastic! Not amazing graphics but it's cell shaded so what do expect, the expressions are amazing. The characters are very humourous - i hit one on the head with my net and got very amusing responses. I've also managed to make my neighbour say "u plonker" after every sentence. It really is amusing. U have to buy it to c how amazingly addictive it is.

my graphics mark is based on wat it is
