After ordering our kitchen and eventually they came out to fit it, we had to pay £800 extra what they called specialist work,
After the kitchen was finished I paid in full to the fitter and upon him leaving I noticed my oven was damaged and the splashback was scratched
I phoned Wickes straight away and this then took several months of phone calls and us going into the branch around half a dozen times only to be told that our oven had been sat there for over 3 months and nobody had bothered to let us know
We then went in again and was told we don’t want you to pay in full for your kitchen till you’re entirely satisfied only after what then became a year it kicked into the finance company who then took an extra £600 pound as we didn’t pay
When we said we were told don’t pay till you’re happy all he said was well you should have read your small print and this is what happens
We have never experienced anything like this in our lives
It’s been a nightmare so please get your kitchen from somewhere else
