Paul_Birkbeck's review of Everest Kitchens

“The Birkbeck's Everest Kitchen”

The Everest Kitchens salesman came up with a good design and what we think was a good price and made suggestions we had not thought of (eg, induction hob, built in appliances instead of stand alone fridge and dishwasher, etc). We also wanted them to remove the existing artex ceiling and hanging lights and put in a new ceiling with built in spot lights. The Everest Project Manager, Mike Jackson, introduced himself and the crew, who were extremely efficient. The quality of their work was excellent, they didn't make much mess (we were able to keep the exisiting wood laminate floor), and they were always polite and hard working. The only problem we had was with the granite work tops; despite careful templating, they did not fit first time. The Everest Project Manager, Mike Jackson, sorted it out with the counter-top people, but he had to take a firm line with them to get them to acknowledge their mistake and put it right. The granite work tops fitted perfectly second time around, and the Everest fitters came and finished off to a very high standard.
Although the delay with the work tops held things up, we are very pleased indeed with the new kitchen, and are neighbors are well impressed too.
It was good to have a single point of contact within Everest, and Mike Jackson made sure the project was finished to our complete satisfaction.
