Zanussi ZWF1221W

Bearing failed and was replaced under warranty.

A couple of years later Bearing has failed again.

Zanussi will not replace and are failing under the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

This is clearly a design fault.

There are reports of many Zanussi machines failing in this manner.

I would steer clear of Zanussu in future for this reason.

I would never buy another zanussi washing machine the zwf1221w takes so long even on a quick wash. after every wash i have to empty the conditioner compartment which soon turns in to a pain. clothes and my washing ball get caught in the large rubber seal water doesent get up far enough to wash powder away and there is a horrible smell in the drum ive tried every product on the market it has started to make washing smell so sorry zannussi but poor not very old machine is going to be recycled

the zanussi zwf1221w machine washes fine but takes forever !!! its ridicliously slow my old machine did a 40 deg wash in 1 hr 15 mins , this machine takes 2 hrs 20 mins to do same . and because the timer doesnt move , theres no way of knowing how long more a wash is going to take ( if someone else started using it first ) and I can' understand how it can be so called energy effecient if it takes so long to wash and also it only has a cold feed , so even if we have lashings of hot water from our solar panels , the machine can't take it and has to wait hours to heat up the water inself - doesnt make any sense to me at all ??
