I love my machine. I've had it nearly 5 years (so far it has never gone wrong). It the second Whirlpool I've owned. The last one was 15 year old when it died. This one washes and spins fine. I use the 35 minute Eco cycle most of the time. It copes with everything apart from single very wet heavy items, in which case you do need to add something to help balance the load. I would recommend it to any sized family; mine has gone from 4 adults down to just 2. It copes with all that University returnee washing too!

Owned the machine for 15 months. Had issues with it being very loud on spin cycle. The service light came on during a wash and after investigation the belt had come off. The drum housing had a crack, which came from the bearing recess for the wheel pulley at the back of the machine so this was indicating a manufacturing defect due to a stress crack on a non moveable part.

Whirlpool did not want to know and neither did the shop that I purchased it from. I would not recommend this machine or company to anyone
