Hey Guys, Had This Whirlpool For 10 Years And It's
Hey guys, had this whirlpool for 10 years and it's been loaded with stuff from 2 adults + 2 kids and it's been great. It's making a noise at the moment but we've been very happy with it.

I Have Had This Whirlpool Awm5145 For 1 Year And H
I have had this Whirlpool AWM5145 for 1 year and half it broke down within the first 3 months, waited 3 weeks for engineer to fix and has broken down every 3 months at least. In the year and half I have owned this machine it has spent more time being broken then actually working. so far we are on the 5th call out and I would not recommend especially as it has took the whirlpool engineers usually 3 weeks before they can even come to look at it. If looking to purchase I do not recommend however if you do I would suggest taking out insurance on it to cover you for break downs.

This Is My First Owned Whirlpool Product And Will
This is my first owned Whirlpool product and will be the last. I have only had this washing machine for 2 years and with daily use has developed a noisy spin. The engineer said it would cost around £200 to repair. Decided to dispose and buy a new one that will not be Whirlpool!

I Got The Whirlpool Awm5145/2 Washing Machine, Whi
I got the Whirlpool AWM5145/2 washing machine, which is the 1200rpm spin model.
I picked this up from Costco for about £230. I could have got it online for about £190, but I decided that if I ever needed to return it, Costco would be the easier option. Besides, the old one had packed up, and with delivery times of up to 2 weeks, this seemed the best bet.
Just wanted to say that the bearing has final started to rumble after 5 years.
But that after 2000+ (conservatively;y) full loads over 5 years, so not bad.
Haven't yet decided whether to replace the bearing or just a new one.
Just wanted say that machine is still going strong 3 years later with at least one full load daily. Vibration seems to have increased slightly at full spin-load. But will be happy if it goes another couple of years.
Just wanted to say that this machine is still going strong almost 2 years later.
But I do agree that the sap box can get a bit filthy. I prefer to put the soap directly into the drum anyway.
