Never buy Smeg product. Its not reliable. The products develope rust wiyhin 36-months of purchase. The warrants are not worth the paper they are written on (perhaps thats why they have give them away free...).

If you ring the customer services at SMEG UK they support you as a consumer being subjected to blackmail tactics by their 'repair contractors' like APP. They will say the fault is a blockage not covered by warrant and leave you a bill. When you use the smeg product again- you will find its not been repaired at all. If you try to complain SMEG UK are not interested. Smeg allowances their service contractors tooperate unethically with consumers and treat us negatively. Smeg told me your not an engineer how can you say it isnt a different fault- well within 30-minutes of him leaving and first time using after alleged repairthe machine had same fault.

SMEG does give a toss about disabled people...
