Servis M6006

We purchased this Servis M6006 washing machine less than 7 months ago and paid extra to have the machine installed by the installation team.

The machine was noisy from the onset, despite repeated telephone calls explaining our concerns nothing was ever done.

2 weeks before Christmas it tripped all the electrics for the house continuously - we called Servis, 1 week to get an engineer out who looked inside the door and declared that the drum had split and not to use it. He didn't need to pull out the machine and check he said it was a common problem with the machines. We waited a further 3 weeks then we had to ring them to find out what was happening to be told that they would not repair it as a foreign object had obviously caused the damage and therefore they had voided the warranty. An independent engineer diagnosed the same problem over the phone adding that they had half a dozen in the back with the same problem - they are notorious for splitting drums. In my view it is obvious that sub standard materials are being used.

Customer service promised to ring us back several times but never did.

We are disgusted with the quality of the machine and the customer service and will not be buying another Servis appliance nor recommending them.

Yet another example of profit before people.
