Unbearably Loud Spin Cycle
After only 3 years, this Maytag washer's bearings went bad and sounded like a jet engine during the spin cycle. Unfortunately, it was located on the 1st floor and if the laundry room door was left open, you could not have a normal conversation or hear the TV on the rest of the floor. The repair estimate was about $500 which is about what the washer cost. Needless to say, I'm done with Maytag. It's sad to see a name brand synonymous with quality sink so low.
