LG WM2016CW

I worked on Laundry equipment for many years. I have never seen a more poorly engineered machine. We bought the Washer and Dryer with Pedistal bases from Home Depot 2 years ago. The machine walks all over the room. The Machine shakes the house. I reinforced the floor under the machine with no improvement. They finally replaced the circuit board, no improvement. The machine apparently has no "out of balance" detector and continues to run at full speed until it hits the wall. I bought special vibration dampeners for under the pedistal base, the machine jumped off of them. The only "fix" that I can see is to pour 2 cubic feet of concrete in the pedistal base with anchor bolts into the floor to hold the machine down.

Since we are not interested in this messt fix, we are buying a new Washer and Dryer. We will junk these LG machines and will never buy another LG applinace. LG has been less than helpful, Home Depot has been less than helpful. We do not do bus8iness with Home Depot either.
