Quiet, Efficient And Value For Money

We have had this machine only a week but we love it! We used it for the first time yesterday and it was great. We chose this one because we have not seen a single bad review anywhere.

We looked at a lot of websites, read reviews and visited several stores before deciding on this machine. For us the deciding factors were:

Direct Drive motor (less parts to go wrong)

High praise from every review - no negative comments anywhere

Manufacturer's 2 year guarantee

Quiet operation

The machine looks good and is so quiet in operation, even when spinning. The icing on the cake is the little tune it plays at the end of the cycle.

There is nothing I don't like about this machine. I am just so glad we chose this one.

Very Happy

Our last washing machine (a Hotpoint Aquarius) gave up the ghost after a very respectable 9 years and after looking around for similar spec machines for a reasonable price we settled on the LG F1256QD. We were interested in the Direct Drive system as our Hotpoint was decommissioned due to the drum bearings and the LG Direct Drive system does not have bearings. We've had the LG for 2 months now and are really happy. It is quick, quiet and washes very well. We also now have a little family ritual to do a little dance when the LG plays its end of cycle musical jingle - it is a very jolly little tune and strangely makes us smile every time - I'm sure it may get annoying after a few years!

Another useful feature is the time remaining display so we can see immediately how long the wash has left - which is very helpful when you are doing multiple washes in a day (we have 3 kids under 7 so have lots of washing!).

All in all it is a good product for a good price and we are very happy - we would most definitely recommend it.

When Our Previous (bosch) Washing Machine Broke La

When our previous (Bosch) washing machine broke last January I called Range Appliances in Worthing to see if it could be fixed - answer no! On his recommendation I bought the LGF1256QD. It cost just over £300 from memory. Range supplied and fitted the new machine the next day, and took the old one away for free. When you add in all the extra costs from the big suppliers, Range's price was highly competitive. I specifically wanted a machine that did a quick wash, and this fits the bill. There is a 30 minute wash, which we use most of the time. Max spin speed is 1200 rpm and you can choose the spin speed with all programmes. Only after using this LG machine did I realise how badly the old Bosch had been washing the clothes. Clothes and bedding literally came out looking much cleaner and brighter. It's obvious this machine is more vigorous in the wash cycle if you leave a tissue in a pocket: it comes out like confetti, so be warned. It takes a 7kg load and the door is large which makes loading and unloading easy. Another blissful feature is the quiet running of the machine, even during the spin cycle. Ten out of ten, and I'm glad the other machine went wrong.
