Hotpoint WT960P

My Dad bought one of these machines in 2007, and it lasted him 6 years up until 2013. Yes 6 years is only an average amount of time but as an engineer i can safely tell you they did not use it properly at all.

It was constantly used t low temperatures with Gel and not cleaned, so it ended up full of mould and the seal for the door went all mouldy. Gel damages washing machines, including the drum supports and bearing seals meaning that the machine gets bearing/drum failure- this only started happening after years of ths behaviour so i would say it was reliable.

it was always very quiet, couldnt really tell it was on and until it became all dirty it was excellent at washing.

i would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying a refurbished washing machine now, but i would avoid the latest hotpoints as they are all indesit made and not very good.

I was recommended the Hotpoint WT960P washing machine by an online retailer called Whitebox, they helped me pick a machine for my needs. The WT960P was a great buy. It only cost £264.00. I considered this to be pretty good considering it is a triple A rated machine. I have had no trouble with it at all. I recommend this machine to friends and family.

Good value for money.
