Hotpoint WMPF823P Washing Machine

Had it for 18 months and it stoped with a few sparks out the front bottom right hand side and a pop or two. got error code F18 - a few phone calls later I find out it needs a new circit board then programming then find the failed part, about 160-180 pounds. I am a single only use once or twice a week and its never been overloaded, very dissapointing. Hotpoint said I was unlucky! I said I am glad you dont build Aircraft.

BTW if you register for the 5 year free parts its £109 std call out

I did not, when you do they try to sell you extra warrenty and tell you its cheaper than the call out!
