This Machine Has Caused No End Of Problems From Da

This machine has caused no end of problems from day one.We have taken out a costly service plan simply because we know we are going to need it.So far to date the machine has broken down 4 times over 18 months.The usual problem is the display panel which has been replaced 3 times so far.At the moment the machine won't turn off when cycle has finished so constantly lit up.Avoid !!!!!

My Hoover Vhd9143zd Broke Down 4 Times In Six Mont

My Hoover VHD9143ZD broke down 4 times in six months! The door is not unlocking, not spinning, error codes on lcd, etc. Had it fixed but happened again.

Lots of arguments with hoover on phone, regret the day I bought it. Finally getting taken away and think i am going to get a bosch. Stay well clear is my advice.

Whilst The Machine Has Provided A Good Clean Wash

Whilst the machine has provided a good clean wash and has impressed all of us with its massive capacity, It has left a bad taste in our mouths after the chaos caused by the serviceplan provided by hoover. After just 3 months the machine filled with water and then flashed up E09 on the display, Let this be a message that E09 OR F09 spells death to your machine. After promptly phoning hoover they sent an engineer out within 48 Hours, And astonishingly He showed up with NO PARTS. After stating the obvious that the machine was broken he said a main board was required, We`d have to wait 1 week (8 days) for this to be done. When this was replaced he identified that when this part failed it had also damaged the Display we had to wait 2 and a half weeks for this to be replaced. All the time my disabled mother couldn't use the machine which we had bought for her and we created £200 in launderette bills which hoover are refusing to pay for. This is half the cost of the machine. Meanwhile Currys are protesting innocence as we didn't purchase there cover which is £138 , A THIRD OF THE COST OF THE MACHINE. I knew HOOVERS service plan was not the best but this is terrible service and all because they wont pay for next day delivery, otherwise it could have been fixed within a week even if the SERVICE ENGINEER? didn't stock parts. HOOVER AGAIN ..... NO THANK YOU

My machine (7mths old) has just died showing fault E09 as well!

i'll let you know if the service / repair is any better!

Are washing machines not covered by the sales of goods act?

Currys are surely legally obliged to refund or replace the machine extended warranty or not.

An All Round Excellent Machine That Will Not Break

An all round excellent machine that will not break the bank. I bought mine from a catalogue so was fully aware that I was paying more although, there was £70 off the full price when I bought it so the machine cost me £370. Found out later that Comet advertise this machine for £399.99 on their website (same as many others) so I was really pleased.

Excellent drum and door size. Will take a 9kg load. Very impressed with the machine and highly recommended. Ultra quiet motor - so quiet, I have to check the machine sometimes to make sure I actually switched it on!

Buy one...you won't be sorry!
