No Detergent But "overdose"?!
I bought this machine 1 month ago, and at the end of every cycle it was telling me that I had overdosed on detergent. This is the 3rd Bosch washing machine I have had, and struck somewhat strange with me to find that every cycle I was "overdosing". In this case, the machine adds extra rinses and therefore uses more water (heavy on the old water bill)!
I monitored the machine during the cycle and noticed that the machine spins too fast in the initial stage of the spin, causing lots of water to be extracted from the clothes, too much for the pump to keep on top of and then it decides that there is an overdose in detergent and runs additional rinses - even if there is hardly any detergent present.
Bosch are coming out (in a week's time) to "repair" my new machine.
I am a bit concerned that after having spent £800 on a washing machine, I am having to have it looked at by Bosch also to be told that if they dont find anything wrong with it, I could be charged for their call out - nearly £90!
Their customer services could do with an overhaul too. They say they call you back and they dont - and dont like genuine reviews placed on their website either unless you say how fantastic their item is.
**Up-date** The machine was replaced by the retailer for the same model, but this one does exactly the same. The fault seems to be across the entire Logixx range. Think carefully before spending this amount of money on this range of washing machines
