Broke After 3 Washes!

Bought a Beko Integrated washine machine through appliances direct having read some good reviews, after 3 washes - no power. The Beko engineer cam out after 3 days - circuit board is faulty so have to wait for up to 5 days for a part to be fitted.

Wish I had gone for a better brand!

Bought It After Inspecting Most Major Brands, And,

Bought it after inspecting most major brands, and, being on a tight budget, got it £80 off normal price in sale at Comet.(It wasn't cheap, so I was not expecting nasty.) Machine was installed by Comet professionals and all instructions both machine and of detergent mandufacturers followed just about to the letter, including weighing of laundry loads to make sure machine not overloaded.

From the very first wash noticed all the fabrics were being "roughed up" and showing unusual signs of wear - even fairly new things. Finally had enough after going through all programmes to find one that wouldn't damage the weekly family wash when one day things came out with shredding and holes. Comet's provided engineers came and changed the drum - they said it was warped. How does a brand new machine get a warped drum when nothing other than shirts, undergarments (without wire), dresses, towels and linen have been carefully added? Things protected in wash bags have come out with damage, too.

The machine still roughs things up even after changing the drum. I think it is the way the machine carries out its programmes, especially the strength of the rinsing. I am forced to wash everything on a 1kg handwash/600rpm spin on a machine capable of 7kg/1600rpm spin.

To say I feel badly let down is an understatement. This is a beast of a machine; despite my best efforts and over 40 years experience washing family clothes, I still cannot tame it. My advice is to stay clear of it and buy something else altogether.
