No Spares Available With This Fault What A Joke

worst washing machine ever.... dont buy beko if you value your sanity.... the main [but not the only] fault with mine is the tacho magnet on the end of the motor shaft.. fractured in such a way as you had to break it in two to make it fit with a big gap where it should have met up so i repaired it with superglue and araldite, went again and again and again over a 10 month period now the magnet [the shape and size of a large polo mint] has disintegrated beyond repair [all of this is very strange seeing as how it spins in free air with only the tacho pick up coil in the vicinity] will they sell you a new magnet? your having a laugh you have to buy a complete motor assy for the sake of a BADLY designed system where the fault is a broken magnet which should cost no more than a couple of pounds absolute rubbish.. designed by cretins

Had It Eight Years

Just given up on me after 8 years, two years ago the door seal started leaking and i replaced it myself cost £20. Machine had started getting rather noisy at the time when on spin cycle and i discovered when replacing seal that the lower counterweight had come off and the outer drum had cracked were the weight was attached. Considering the price i had paid for it i didn't think it was worth repairing and it has lasted another two years. Going buying another one next week. Another very well known make was a complete nightmare cost a lot more more money and would not buy one again after years i scrapped it!

Beko Wma520w Washing Machine. Owned For 2 Yea

Beko WMA520W Washing machine.

Owned for 2 years. In that time it has been repaired for: Leaking door, concrete block on drum loose (3 times), Smell of burning when on 1200 spin (still does it - engineer cant find fault, has not been able to on the 4 seperate occasions they have been out), pipe kinked on overflow causing flooding - 3 repairs to this, control panel packed up, conditioner leakes out of draw when you are pouring it in the draw, door will not shut properly, hence when you use the timer more often than not it just goes to the 'flashing' light to say there is a problem, so your load does not start. Doesnt spin properly every time and clothes are sopping wet, so have to put it on a sepearte spin cycle. Makes holes in your clothes, not just woolen ones but tea towels and sheets too.

Purchased a Curry's Whatever Happens Next agreement for it after the 1 year warranty. They refuse to replace it, the engineer oviously likes comming to see me!

i would not recommend this machine to ANYBODY and now i know why the man at Curry's was trying to sell it - to make sure that he didnt have any more to sell to any one else.

Biggest peice or rubbish i have ever had the mis fortune to own - Oh and by the way, the concrete block on the drum fell off again this morning and flooded the kitchen AGAIN - I have just been told i have to wait a WEEK for an engineer!!!!

mine smelled of burning and started to smoke the very first time i used it, got it replaced next day, within months of the later one the control board was replaced, 4 years on it has smelled and filled kitchen with smoke on at least 6 occassions and all on a 1200 speed. Today its happened again, enough is enough, its out, its a fire risk! no more beko appliances for me. Beware of this machine!
