I Have Owned This Machine For About 2 And A Half Y

I have owned this machine for about 2 and a half years. Like the previous reviewer the dryer function on my machine stopped working after owning the machine for 14 months and after ringing zanussi they advised of the extortionate costs for a repair so I just left it. I have just had someone come to look at my machine as the washing functions are not working properly and the machine just stops working half way through a cycle. The gentleman told me it would be approx £200 to fix the 'board' fault and said it basically was not economical to fix it. Therefore I am now going to have to buy a new machine. Overall I am disappointed with this machine.

Bought The Machine Just Over Two Years Ago. Was Ve

Bought the machine just over two years ago. Was very pleased initially; easy to use, quiet and reasonable wash results.

However, just after the years' guarantee ran out (well it would be wouldn't it??!!) the dryer function stopped working. Put up with it over the summer as didn't need it and intended to get this fixed ready for the winter.

Then, the washing function also packed up. Was told it would cost £60 + labour to fix the heating element for the drying funtion (was told by the engineer that this is becoming a common fualt with new Zanussis) and £135 + labour to replace the CPU. Basically, it wasn't worth repairing so am now buying a new machine. Yes, in hind-sight, I should have taken out the extended guarantee but at the time, I objected paying £250 for 4 extra years. (Yes, £250!!!)
