Siemens WD12D520

Shortly after the 2 year warranty the washing machine developed a fault. The cycle started but would never go beyond the washing. I had to manually set the machine for the rinse programme. Siemens was very unhelpful and would offer no guidance of the nature of the problem whether was serious or not.

I thought spending money on such a well know model would be worth while but I was mistaken! This is the second wahser dryer from Siemens, first had a hole in the drum within 2 years and was replaced, the replacement came 3 months later free of charge but they gave this no warranty. Less than a year later, the WD12D520 machine is playing up and gets stuck with a minute left. This means you need to put on a manual rinse and spin and manually turn off when the timer hits 1 min remaining.
