LG WM3632H

I bought this Brand New LG WM3632HW Combo on 12-13-10. Not really because i wanted a combo.I have a gas dryer. But i wanted a Front Load washer with Rear Controls and a Forced Water Recirculation Spray system.This one is all i could find.Evey Front loader i see now for sale is the Box on a pedistil models with a slidding detergent drawer.I don't want those things in my house.This Combo looks very nice but i found out by the LG tech that it was manufactured (assembled) in 2004. So, A new machine, but lagging behind in the design improvements of the 2010 models on sale today.It doesn't really dry well at all.VERY,VERY, LONG time it takes.Also, LG service technicians have had to change the main (DRUM) motor twice for electrical buzzing noise during dryer operation only.I've had it less than a month and service calls twice already. It still buzzes only during the dry cycle. I understand the drain pump,the faint fan sound,the water trickle. But the main motor sounds like a piece of chalk dragging on the concrete pavement during dryer operation when it starts to tumble in both directions. Only during the dry cycle. Nobody seems to understand why it's making this electrical static sound.I've just given up. I'm not calling again for service.It's about a month old.I'll just use it as a washer only.At least it sprays my clothing as it tumbles.Which is what i like, and the top control panel.

I like that I do not have to remember to move clothing from washer to dryer. Does it all automatically. Fits about the same as a standard machine, but does take longer. This is not so much of a big deal as I can put clothes in at bedtime or before I leave for work. I don't worry about the machine being on while I am gone as there is no vent etc.

I have an LG WM3632H washer dryer and I put 5 towels in the dryer, which took 6 hours, and the towels were still wet!!

Including tax, delivery and a service contract, I paid $1822.00. I feel like I have been ripped off! If I had known, I would never have bought it!
