Hotpoint BHWD129

Bought it 6 months ago and had problems after problems. Dryer does not dry, reports faults of blocked drain yet there is no drain blockage, wrong program applied (for example it starts rinse cycle mid drying session, WTF??). had to call out hot point engineer 7 times, the engineers couldn't work out what the problem was but hotpoint policy is not to replace the machine but parts, so they replaced many parts randomly over the 7 visits, works for a week or two, then breaks. Absolute nightmare. We wish we had checked out the reviews before we bought it as we notice now that a similar model (BDWD129) is full of bad reviews left by customers. And We suspect hotpoint just decided to rebrand it with different model name (BHDWD129) to ward off the bad reviews. So don't buy and regret.
