Maytag MDE2400AYW

This dryer was the worst investment I have made in my life. It was defective from the very beginning, and I was unable to exchange it or get it fixed, even after at least 2 dozen of service visits.

It never got warm enough to dry the clothes, unable to dry even 2 damp towels at a time.

Please save youself some money and nerves and get another brand.

I bought this Maytag dryer only because of it's compact size: the regular size dryer would not fit in my utility room.

Since the day of purchase, I had nothing but problems with it.

The clothes don't dry at all. I purchased extended warranty service for it, Maytag Dependability Plus, only to find out that it seems impossible for me to get a hold of anyone and schedule an appointment. I have been calling them for 3 days and nights at this point, still no luck.

I would not recommend anyone to get this dryer.
