If I Had To Purchase A Tumble Dryer Again I Would
If I had to purchase a Tumble Dryer again I would not choose a Hotpoint. Since they have been taken over the appliance has deteriorated in quality. No engineer at Hotpoint was available to advise on replacing the belt!

Hotpoint Vtd00t Manufacturing Fault, Drum Shaft To
Hotpoint VTD00T manufacturing fault, drum shaft too short.
Machine broke down in 4 months and was a problem to get Hotpoint to repair it, took 3 visits from their "engineers" and several phone calls to chase them up.
Service in Wales very poor as they are not based in Wales.
Same problem reoccured when machine 15 months old and out of warrentee, Hotpoint will not sell spares to an individual for this which means going through the frustration of trying to get their "engineer" to come out and repair it, plus the extra cost.
Just trying to get a quote sent to my adress is a problem for them, have tried 3 times to get a quote.
