Best condenser dryer on the market by far even as a man I now enjoy drying the clothes!

I brought the first model from Hoover in July 06. I had the dryer for no more that 4 weeks when it started to make some funny noises. The engineer came out and fixed the problem there and then - result! Next day and one load later it stopped working. Engineer number 2 fix's machine again - different problem. All works well for a month or 2, then another problem, engineer fixes. In January 2007 the machine just stopped working altogether. Engineer called again, this time the part had to be ordered and I was advised by the engineer that this would be with him within 7 business days. 8 weeks later when you equate Hoover's 28 business days policy for replacing the machine the part turns up! Some genius at Hoover remembered they had a factory full of them all along because the machine was still in production (I'm not kidding this is what they actually told me!) Brilliant!!

Engineer fix's problem the same day, all is now in working order.......

For 20 mins!!!!!

This was a Friday night so another weekend with no dryer! Eventually Monday morning comes with my not so polite request for a new machine... no more chances! Tuesday comes and goes... no response, Wednesday afternoon comes - 16.00, the only person in Hoover who can sign my request is now in the office??

My new machine will be delivered 23 March 07 - great . no more being fobbed of by Hoover 'No clue about' Customer Services department now 10 weeks with no dryer has come to an end.

Today is the 30 April 07. I am writing this review whilst sat at home.... having taken the afternoon of work ..

Wait for it.....

Because the new machine has now stopped working and I am waiting for the engineer to arrive any time between 12 noon & 18.00!!!!

I'm not hopeful

If you have all the time in the world, don't really need a tumble dryer anyway . This is the perfect purchase.
