Morphy Richards 42270 Jetstream Elite

42270 Jetstream Elite is no good if you live in a hard water area, even with filters. The tubes inside the iron get clogged up with lime scale. The only way to unblock is to dismantle the iron and use a stiff wire to poke through the tube and plastic pipe connectors. Not recomended for the average person.

Other wise when it does work ok - it does a good job. This is the second Morphy Richards steam gen - lasts about 12 mths.

was very happy at first with our Morphy Richards 42270 Jetstream Elite, but after 2 months had used 3 filters and then it started making a very loud whistling noise, i am having to send it back, The plate is covered in limescale, not good if you live in hard water area even with the cartridges.

Did buy Morphy Richards 42270 Jetstream Elite after a recommendation however, believe that was now a waste of money :( Very noisy, not non-drip, very large storage wise, sand escapes from the filters and ends up on clothes, cable has rubbed off ironing board and protective fabric has worn away completely after 1 year!
