Poor Performance And Short Life

Purcased a hinari steam generator iron hoping it would be as good as our previous steam generator iron. It proved to be a poor replacement and only lasted 9 months before it packed in. Pay a little more and get a decent unit that works as it should do.

This Is My First Steam Generator And I Have To Say

This is my first Steam Generator and I have to say I love it. I don't recognise any of the problems described in the other reviews, I press the button it steams, it does continue to steam for a little bit after you release the button but that's fine.

Considering I paid less for this Steam Generator than many conventional iron's I think it's a fantastic bit of kit.

Bought This From Makro For Abour £60 3 Month

Bought this from Makro for abour £60 3 month ago, it's stopped steaming, customer service non existent from Hinari, had to send cheque for £5 away to get a little part that made no difference. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, it's garbage.

I agree. Bought mine 2 months ago, was brilliant at 1st, loved it, now there is hardly any steam, I can't believe it needs filter changing after only 2 months.

After Using Twice Weekly For 3 Months It Stopped S

after using twice weekly for 3 months it stopped steaming through the plate. Customer services suggested continuously pressing the steam button but that didnt work. So I must either buy a new calicte cartridge (from where?) or abandon the iron . I have abandoned it and would say that it is unfit for purpose and should not be on sale. The calcite cartridge is supposed to last 6 months with normal use and I am not prepared to spend more money on this iron only to find it still wont work. I wouldnt have bought it if I felt this cartridge needed constant replacing.

Bought This As A Replacement For A Steam Generator

Bought this as a replacement for a steam generator I had had for several years - what a let down. I have several Hinari items but on this the steam takes ages to come through, then carries on for too long. Takes me twice as long to do the ironing as it used to and not nearly as well. The price is competitive but spend a bit more, it would be worth it.

Only Buy This Product If You Are Stone Deaf And Ha

Only buy this product if you are stone deaf and have time on your hands.

I thought this type of product was meant to save you time, however to generate the steam you have to press a button on the top of the iron for one minute before the steam comes out. The steam does continue to come out of the iron for a few seconds after you have stopped pressing it (as the instructions indicate) but unless you press immediately afterwards you need to wait a whole minute again. Gone are the days that I could enjoy watching a film or listen to music whilst ironing my stack of clothes - this contraption puts paid to that as the generator is soo noisy you can't hear anything else whilst pressing the steam button. This is my first foray into this sort of iron. Maybe I should have gone for the slightly more expensive models........

I Have Tried And Tested Several Steam Generators O

I have tried and tested several steam generators over the last five years and not many of them have been any good. I have bought three in the last three months and taken them all back as they were rubbish. BUT this Hinari iron is brilliant. I only paid £40 for it. For the money, it is brilliant. It's quiet, produces loads of steam and does a great job. Highly recommended.
