Redgewells Sewing Machine Repair

I was given a sewing machine, circa 1960, in Nov 09, and it didnt work so took it to this machine repair place. All seemed well, and the repair etc seemed fine, and they picked up and delivered (not unusual for any s-m repiar tho) ....managed to make 1 thing with the repaired machine, before it started choking on thread.

Admittantly i called up the guy again (outside of warranty) ...to ask about it....and he was unbelieveably rude (like chav-rude), told me to go and buy a new machine, said he had no records of the repair (he 'doesn't keep them for that long') even though as far as i knew you were supposed to keep records for 6-7 years! etc. And then to top it off...HE actually hung up on me!... That would be THE worst customer service i have had in my life, and would be a perfect phone call to use as a CS training 'what not to do'... Think Basil Fawlty with rabies!!!!
