Still Going Strong After 5 Years
This is an old model bought in 2007 but we have used it regularly and it is still spotless and cleans beautifully. We kept the instructions so had no problem operating it unlike the other reviewer. It has a 30 min cycle for if washing straight after use with few pans and a 70 min cycle for normal use. we have never needed the longer cycles. It works best with separate dish-washing powder and rinse-aid. It is quiet. After dinner for 10 people it coped well by just doing 2 cycles of washing and drying.
Avoid flimsy plastic things that fall over and retain water.

The Siemens SF24T258GB is limited in its use now. For a machine of this price and from a so called reputable manufacturer I am disgusted with the service. Personally feel the GB office has been a waste of time as the person one contacts cannot answer any technical questions and there is no one at that office that can help me. At the moment I am operating the machine on one program only as I have not the faintest idea what the other four programs do.
This is the last Siemens device that I will purchase.
