The dishwasher stopped emptying 6 weeks before the guarantee ran out, service engineer called, took 2 weeks for appointment.He diagnosed a sticky non-return valve, nothing replaced and no charge incurred, 6 weeks later same problem starts, rang service department only to be told it was now out of guarantee and would cost over £80 for an engineer to put right. In 40 years now on 4th dishwasher, never had to call an engineer before = other 3 (Not Siemens) lasted 38 years - Siemens=2yrs 24 days
