Siemens Dishwasher SN65M031GB

This Siemens dishwasher (common parts used in Bosch & Neff equivalents I have been led to believe) lasted just over 2 years having cost more than £450 when new in 2012. At this price point I would expect a dishwasher to be engineered and tested to a lifetime of circa 8 years. Talk to Bosch Group customer service and apparently not, outside of 2 year warranty period and the cost to replace a fault heating element is circa £300. How can this be? How did it get out of the testing process and factory gate? To be fair it worked well unto the fault appeared - however it was well looked after. Very disappointing quality story - I will not be buying a Bosch, Neff or Siemens dishwasher again.

How Which? magazine rate this as a top product, I don't know. I think their reviewer's palm was crossed with silver!

Its RRRRUBISH!. It doesn't clean anything on the top tray, everything has to be rinsed clean before you put it in, we have to use liquid detergent because the Powerballs get lodged on the top tray and don't dissolve. It throws food over everything and DOES NOT CLEAN DISHES.

I contacted Siemens to ask for a replacement it's that rubbish. Needless to say, they were not interested.

I can sum this so called 'Dish WASHER' up in one word. CR4P (the site won't let me spell it right)
