1 Year 3 Months After Purchase, I Had A Problem..

1 year 3 months after purchase, I had a problem.. and I didn't purchase the extended warranty. When turning on the unit, the digital display would error out and also a smell of smoke.. Contacted LG, and the repair company they sent came to the house..looked at it and told me it was the mother board.. That was it.. It took 1.5 weeks to get the part..and I had to contact the repair company to come out, otherwise they probably would not have called me for some time. When he did come out, he replaced the mother board and didn't even run a cycle on the dishwasher, he just assumed he fixed it.. But didn't...I still have the same issue. I contacted LG, and they told me the repair company should warranty their work for 90 days..and not much they can do but to take down the comments on the repair company..

I purchased all top of the line LG appliances, replaced my stove twice and two more service calls and now problems with my dishwasher..

LG appliances suck! Will never buy another!!

We Bought The Lg Ldf6810st Dishwasher Because The

We bought the LG LDF6810ST dishwasher because the sales person said it was good, it looked attractive and matched our other appliances. It worked perfectly for about 14 months. Then it stopped drying our dishes. We have an extended warranty with Goldwing Applliance Factory Service in Arizona. Their repair guys have come out three times. They say nothing is wrong. They tell me I must use Jet Dry (I always do) plus I need to stand at the kitchen sink each time before I start the dishwasher and verify with a thermometer that the water at the sink is at 120 degrees. Do they think I'm nuts? The machine needs to be replaced! What a waste of money on the dishwasher and the warranty!!!
