My Hotpoint 7883 Hydrocare Micro de luxe is the best dishwasher i know; friends have bought Zanussi, indesit,hoover etc over the years I have had this one, and they have replaced theirs two or even three times whilst mine just keeps going and going. it was £190 14 years go - a LOT of money then, but it has been worth every penny. I even refused a new integral dishwasher with my new kitchen as this one is just so good!

I don't recommend it because the digital display malfunctioned more than once. I did not use the word "constantly". I don't expect my appliances to malfunction at all. More than once is too many.

I have given them the numbers they deserve. For example, I'm not going to downrate "ease of use" because some other aspect was bad, am I? That's the reason for marking the characteristics individually.
According to your points out of ten, most over five, is it a dishwasher worth getting no for a recommendation? If the digital display constantly malfunctioned, should ease of use, support, value and overall be high numbers?
