Hoover HND315

Avoid this dishwasher. I made the grave error of not checking if my standard size dinner plates fitter in the bottom basket. They don't. The water blade hits them. So I struggle to put them in the top but they catch on the ridge as they go in and for some stupid annoying reason only stand up if loaded back to front. These are not fancy dinner plates, just every day ones. The holders have snapped so now they have wasteful gaps in the rack where nothing stands up including bowls or glasses. The top basket alternates between jamming and not coming out to flying out and off the rails. The cutlery basket has never fitted correctly in the lower basket and is in pieces. The tablet fails to dissolve if anything is place remotely near it. It's noisy and the most irritating thing to load and unload. If I could afford to replace it I would. Unfortunately I can't so have to put up with it but I will NEVER buy another Hoover dishwasher ever again.

Ok it has finally given up the ghost and died after just under two years of appalling service. This piece of junk never worked properly from day one and has been a constant headache throughout it's pitifully short life.

I could write pages of text regarding Hoovers servicing/support, you quickly learn the true nature of the company as soon as anything goes wrong. I will never buy anything with the Hoover name again and strongly advise everyone else to do the same!!

The star rating on this review site has a minimum of one star for each feature. I would have liked to rate both the product and the Hoover company as NO STAR.

Incredibly frustrating to load. No proper plate dividers so they just keep falling over on each other like dominoes. Put anything too close to the front and the tablet will get stuck in the dispenser draw. Very noisy - much more so than my washer. Would never buy a Hoover dishwasher again.

A lousy machine, riddled with problems from the outset. Very poor value for money.

The Hoover HND315 Dishwasher isn't user friendly. The product manager forgot his/her job is to help build the company by providing what users want. This guy designed to a paper spec - not usability. For me that means company reputation down the drain.
