Hoover HFI3015

Owned whirlpool dishwasher before i got this absolute heap of junk, dirty dishes every cycle, plates dont stand straight, you have to leave loads of run betwwen each item, stops halfway through cycles. Hoover Dishwasher designers and engineers must have been on a session when they came up with this "GEM"!!!!Never buy another Hoover product again.Bring back Zanussi Whirlpool!!!!!!

This has to be the worst dishwasher I have ever owned or used!

Shelves are so badly designed the plates are never clean, I have never had a full clean load ever!

The cutlery basket is totally out of proportion for any sized dishwasher

Programs take way to long considering they don't clean and dishes and glasses are always wet when the very loud alarm tells you it's actually finished

Take my advice buy anything else but don't buy this, it so bad after 6 months I am seriously thinking of dumping it and buying another one .

The basket is tiny and useless, broke within weeks, the stacking mechanism is awful and all the plates stay dirty, the foot at the back which keeps it level broke, twice, we had both washer arms replaced and it still didn't wash properly. It then packed up completely blowing our electrics with it whilst our house purchasers were looking round. We have now very reluctantly ordered the same model to replace it (only to save time fitting the integrated door), as the hoover service team who cover our machine under a D and G extended warranty, can't get out to fix it before we move in 2 weeks time. Utter rubbish.

This dishwasher has been awful right from the beginning of ownership.

Currys were really unhelpful and would not take it back

It has lasted in a second home just over two and a half years

Top shelf designed for tea cups

Avoid at all costs if there was a minus score this would deserve it

Hoover's attitude is also awful would never by from them again

They suggested that I pay them extra to supply a full size cutlery basket

They supplied one that would have been more appropriate for a dolls tea set

Make an effort to see any dishwasher in person and do not make the mistake I made of buying online

I'm wondering if I have the same dishwasher as the people who wrote negative reviews on here. HFI 3015, check. Well, obviously I have been one of the "lucky" ones (or maybe more people take the time to write reviews when they've had a bad experience, who knows?).

I have just moved in to a new home which we have completely renovated and refurbished, including a glittering new kitchen. I researched all my appliances to the nth degree and at the time of purchase (over a year ago), this dishwasher was getting great reviews, so I went with it.

I have to say, I am so impressed.

Because we have an open-plan layout, we needed a dishwasher that was super quiet so we could have it on while we were in the living area. It has far surpassed my expectations in this respect. Once it's on, you can barely hear anything, certainly not above normal living noise, be it a TV, music or just general chatter.

As for the quality of washing, I followed the manufacturer's recommendation for the all-in-one tablets and they have been brilliant. Only once have I had to put anything back in, and that was when I stupidly used the eco wash when a dish had been left to harden all day. On second go, and using the full wash cycle, it came up brilliantly.

I love that the upper rack is movable but this is where it loses that one star, because I would prefer it to have more than the two positions. An intermediate one would be great for when I want both my over-sized plates *and* long-stemmed flute in the same wash. Still, I don't regularly drink champagne (only moving-in day so far!) so this isn't a day-to-day issue.

Overall, a great appliance and I would definitely recommend.

Ignore the very few people who have been incredibly lucky at getting this product and say it works. The majority say exactly the same thing and that can be for one simple reason, it's TRUE! The dishes do not wash! It is entirely a waste of money, spend a bit more and make sure you do your homework. Awful awful machine!!!

I purchased this HFI3015 as an integrated machine.

Upon delivery I found that there were no fittings supplied for my false drawer unit. It only had the fittings for a cupboard door.

I phoned and they agreed to send me the kit free of charge. They sent the wrong kit and then wanted £14.05 for the correct one. When placing the order the cost went up to £30! I complained bitterly so they took 35% off.

The kit arrived. It consisted of 2 10mm clips and two 50mm steel angle brackets. I could not believe the price. £5 should have been sufficient.

The kit had no instructions and no screws. I had to measure and drill accurately to +/- 0.5mm and find screws from my spares box. The fitting screws through to the adjacent units was so very difficult to get right. Experience would suggest that a semi integrated unit would be far easier to fit and cheaper too. All this being said, the machine now works very well and is cavernous compared with our old 12 place machine. But the aggravation it caused me was considerable. A fitting nightmare.

I am not pleased with the dishwasher, it leaves food residues on dishes and it does not dry. Would not recommentd this item to anyone.

81/2" breakfast plates when placed in the bottom basket prevent jets from spinning and dishes constantly come out unwashed.

disigner did not give plate sizes much consideration.after years of being frustrated by the poor quality washes,i decided to take matterers into my own hands,i placed cable ties on on the extreme right and left of the bottom basket to prevent plates from going down too far,worked a treat.

If I could give this appliance a less than 1 star i would for the following reasons:-

Design:The clips that hold the upper tray keep unclipping thus allowing the whole tray to tip forward when pulled out.

Both spinners block, the rear tube connecting both spinners blocks, the door leaks puckering the work top. It might wash the top but not the bottom tray. The soap dispenser does not clear.

Servicing: We had an army of repair men who did not sort it out, parts were replaced, some badly, then they got bored, then they failed to ring us back. Only after saying that we would complain directly to Currys and Hoover did they promise to fit the new parts promised. My advice is not to buy this product and if you have and it goes wrong insist on a new one don't go down the repair route its rubbish.
