Electrolux EIDW6305GS1

This dishwasher has error code after error code and does not wash dishes. The unit is three years old. I have taken this dishwasher apart multiple times replacing the control board and several o-rings to stop leaks. I believe the main leak is from the main pump which has a 3 inch o-ring for the impeller housing and a ridges flat washer for the pump shaft. Cannot find wither one so far so I used swimming pool goop to help the seal. Now that I may have solved the leaks I get error 11. Still cannot wash dishes. I will never buy an Electrolux appliance again. The company is no help since all you can talk too are phone people reading a script. I want to talk to the designer.

Really i felt very bad of buying this culprit product of electrolux..Cat u read or waste of sending the email also..See the email below when i send the email and till now no action..people who called me they said they are the area inchargers in bangalore, but simply waste of time no use of call also.

U make to throw the Electroluc fridge in DUST BIN, coz of choosing this product. Seems need to promote abt this product to every one in news paper of some other way..this much irritation i got with these electrolux service people even manager or technician or who ever it may be....Hope the company recruiting this way for care of CUSTOMERS.

I also paid for the product and now from past 5 months onwards i m not using and simply kept in my home and waiting for some one to help me. But no vain.

If you are not capable persons, u have to tell me before buying itself, but u cheated me after buying the Electrolux product.

This is the critical situation i faced never in my life, by choosing this company product. Plz help me on this ASAP.

Product has produced error codes since the week it arrived. Electrolux and Lowes refused to replace the unit. Now after two years, the product will not even operate without $200 of electronic component replacements. Eelectrolux still refuses to accept responsibility for the problems, and has a paper trail to prove the product failures since initial delivery. Way too much money for an inferior product. I don't know how they stay in business, and this one is going to be escalated to the better business bureau, and possible small claims court.

We have had our dishwasher for a little over two years now, and we have had problems since the first year. The washer pump was replaced because dishes were not being cleaned. Although, it is suppose to be energy efficient unit, I would disagree agree with this feature. We had several technicians tell us to run the hot water for 5 minutes before turning on the unit to wash the dishes, this is because the unit needs the water to be at a certain temperature otherwise, the dishes will not clean completely. Now into our second year we are experiencing Er 01 error code which is internal leak. We have had this serviced at least four times, where all the hoses were replaced, then they replace the sensor, and the filter. In fairness to Electrolux, they did cover these parts and expenses since it was an internal error and after there one year warranty (we lucked out and got a good customer service rep). However, after 40 days of the repair work we have the same problem again, and this time Electrolux will not cover it. We have a home warranty plan, that we are using to report this issue. This unit is NOT worth the money. The unit is starting to be inoperable more than in operation. We tell all our friends and family not to purchase the Electrolux brand due to the numerous problems we have had. Just to add we also have the Electrolux double electric oven, DON'T BUY IT.. either.

Since day one the washer had problems with leaky water pump and door seals

and never did clean good always dry soap and food on door we have tried every setting does not make a differance, it looks good but thats about it

I have been looking for a recall on it hoping Electrolux would come clean

knowing it does not work proper.

We purchased our Electrolux dishwasher about a year and a half ago. Just a couple of months past the 1 year warranty, we started having problems. It has now failed for the third time! On the first problem we encountered, parts were covered by Elextrolux. While we felt like a dishwasher that cost well over $1,000 should last more than a year, we were grateful assistance was provided. The repair worked for a bout a month and we encountered the second failure. Electrolux took care of all parts and labor and added another kit we were told was an update to our unit from when it was manufactured. We finally felt like maybe our troubles would be over however, we have now had failure number three! The error code is the same as the second time. We now believe that a) Electrolux products are terrible all together or b) the unit we purchased is a lemon. So we ask ourselves...What do we do at this point? We will absolutely not sink another personal dime into this dishwasher as it is proving to be a money pit. Short of Electrolux replacing it with another unit and having a very positive experience with that one, I would not recommend their products to the devil himself! Based on our experience on this model, I certainly would steer clear of the Electrolux products! I must note we are extremely disappointed because the unit really is nice other than the fact that it does not work!!! The layout and controls are very appealing and it is a very attractive unit. It is very quiet...even when it works!!! Unfortunately, it's ever more quiet when it does not work!

The electrolux EIDW is really really BAD - 100% of the time, dirty dishes that are soapy and rusty is what you get for a very expensive and Frigidaire's top of the line dishwasher = useless dishwasher... DO NOT BUY!!!

Motor too weak, so yes quiet, but does not wash dishes at all, nor rinces them - non stainless screws everywhere that rust so badly you get literally rivers of rust - soap dispenser tray to close to upper dish tray and does not open properly, only partially, and therefore almost alweays soap in tray, and always soap on door and dishes.

Really bad News.

We bought this Electrolux EIDW6305GS1 Dishwasher because of its look and innovative technology (movable upper trey). Right away one of the ribbons that seals the door started moving around, which caused the lower trey to get stuck. We called Electrolux, they sent a technician which put thick yellow glue and said that there is nothing that can really be done because Electrolux has the hinges on the lower trey to be in the outside of the trey which causes the trey to touch the sealing ribbons every time the trey goes in or out. It is very expensive Dishwasher which was very badly designed.
