Worst Refrigerator Ever
In the last 3 months, the temperature has dropped in our Samsung (RS267LBBP) refrigerator to 50-55 degrees. Most repairmen won't service Samsung refrigerators. When I finally got one to come to repair it, he basically told us to unplug it for a week and he would come back to tell us what parts it probably needed replacing (he gave us a list of 6 items). Said each service call would probably be about $500-700. I took too long for him to come back out, so we put it back together and plugged it back in and it worked. After troubleshooting what the problem was, we found out that the ice builds up on the coils in the refrigerator and need to be defrosted with a hair dryer (3 hours). Each time this happens, we get sick from eating bad food (bacteria build-up) and have to throw everything away. Now the water in the door has stopped working and the temperature goes up 5-10 degrees within 3 minutes of opening the door. Everyone thinks we keep a neat, clean and almost empty refrigerator on purpose, but we can't trust that this one will not let us down again. A waste of money.

We Have Owned This Unit For Over 2 Years And It Ha
We have owned this unit for over 2 years and it has performed flawlessly. The only problem that we have experienced (very minor)is that of ice clumping. This has occurred twice and I am not sure why. Of course this would happen Thanksgiving day when the family is over and we really needed the ice. But hey, Circle K to the rescue. I hope this unit last us as long as our Kenmore that it replaced. Shout out to Lowes for the great deal that we got on the unit. Love the fact that the frig and freezer have seperate cooling systems.

I like the room in the Samsung RS267LBBP freezer as the ice maker takes up less space than our older unit by frigidare and the tempperature of the freezer and refrigerator is displayed on the outside of the front door.

We thought we took our time, researched (JDPowers gave the Samsung RS267LBBP high ratings). and make a wise choice. How wrong were we. 15 months after purchase, the water dispenser on the door stopped working. Then we noticed everything in the refrigerator was frozen. Woke up in the wee hours of the morning and found the kitchen and laundry room flooded - water was spewing from the filter inside the refrigerator. Called Samsung. It appeared they were really trying to assist us. However, all they have been doing is blowing smoke. It has been over two weeks and we still have not received any calls from Samsung. Each time we call, we have to repeat our situation and three times they have said they would replace our refrigerator, but it has not happened. Local service company has been scheduled twice (that has been such a joke). Had to fax copies of receipt of purchase twice, but still no replacement. Was unable to prepare Thanksgiving dinner because we had nowhere to store food. Now the freezer is no longer working. I have no confidence in Samsung and will never purchase another product with that name on it.
