Hotpoint RLA80

Easy to use, very spacious cabinet, salad crispers are very poor quality plastic, durability is ok but most plastic parts are starting to show signs of wear.

Although this Hotpoint RLA80 is a really good fridge I wouldn't recommend it due to the door handle and the problems with servicing. It then developed temperature control problems that resulted in the appliance being written off at 3 years old as it had non-servicable parts!

Highly disappointed with product and customer service. The door handle has broken on three seperate occasions. Hoptpoint insist we must be misusing the fridge, but any fool can see that the handle is badly designed and places excess stress on a small plastic neck where the screw fixes to the fridge door. Poor customer service and response - avoid at all costs!

Hotpoint made a very good refrigerator. The RLA80 is nice and big, especially for a large family. We also find the bottle rack very useful. Just a shame the door handle broke off.

The Hotpoint RLA80 is a good value for money fridge, it's energy efficient and has a large practical layout suitable for a largish family or someone that doesn't shop very often and need lots of space. Recommended.
