Beko GNE 16122N

We own Beko GNE 16122N over two years.

Food compartment has 376 liters, freezer is 187 liter. It is side by side refrigerator with digital temperature settings and display in the front.

In the beginning it worked fine, but after couple months it became very noisy. By warranty replaced bottom fan. After couple months again the same fan replaced by warranty.

More serious problem began after about two years, when compressor jammed and refrigerator stopped cooling. Because one year warranty ended, we had to pay for repair by our own. It comes that compressor has broken because some internal fan was jammed and it caused overheat.

Insulation between compartments is made from polystyrene, like it was for one time use. Internal technical design is bad, it is not built to last for many years.

Space arrangement inside is good,it is practical refrigerator when new. But after some usage time it becomes noisy and fails.

This is last time that we are buying Beko, because reliability is very low and it caused us many troubles. I bought a small freezer to store some of our food products until this Beko is got fixed. Now it is working, but already some internal fan is very noisy - probably soon it will require another fix.
