My Last Electrolux Fridge Lasted 29 Years With No
My last Electrolux fridge lasted 29 years with no problems until it just wore out. The energy rating would have been poor so it was time to replace it.
The new one is just over two years old and the lower hinge on the door has broken. AEG UK says the entire door needs replacing, as the hinge is intrinsic. £287, plus £3 for a pin. A new door to replace a hinge!
What has happened to durability and value for money. I am considering replacing the fridge completely, and certainly never AEG again.
