Hotpoint Very Poor customer service Not helpful

Bought this fridge-freezer in less than a year it looked like had rust measles all over had replaced now 16mths later rust spots all over and Hotpoint say they cant replace or do anything as year has elapsed.

Size was good and noise wasn't an issue but the appearance is disgraceful

I would plead with everyone not to waste their money on any Hotpoint or Indesit Fridge freezers. We have only owned ours for two years and it has played up most of that time and has had to be fixed. The company have twice taken more money from us to send someone out to repair it saying the guarantee does not cover any of the problems we have had. The guarantee is worth nothing and the aftercare is rude and unhelpful.

I would not buy this product as mine broke down after 14 mths and all Hotpoint care about is charging you for is a repair, and not that the product could be faulty this is the second Hotpoint fridge freezer to have this same problem. I would not buy a Hopoint appliance again.

Looks good. Ideal for two people. Good freezer space, 4 drawers, so lighter to lift. A lot of wasted space inside the 'fridge. Do not like the two small drawers in the bottom of the 'fridge. I had to buy two door trays and one shelf a total of £69.97. They should put these in as standard. By ordering on line could not see inside of unit. (Order spares by phone. carrier delivery, post office returns)
