They were really good at their job and unpacked it all and removed the old freezer without any hassle good job by both men

It WAS excellent to start with, but read on.

I purchased my BEKO CDW563FW from Curry's in December 2010. When it was new it was brilliant. Just the right size, and did the job perfectly.

In December 2009, I noticed the freezer wasn't freezing cold enough, yet things on the bottom shelf of the fridge were frozen solid. Then in the beginning of June 2010, one Sunday morning, I went into the kitchen without any shoes on and yuk the floor was soaking. The fridge/freezer had just died where it stood.

I thought it was the thermostat so I changed that but nope, that didn't fix it. I was told by a refrigerator engineer that it was either the compressor or it needed re gassing. This apparently was a common fault with BEKO fridges and freezers. Bearing in mind that it was just over 2 years old, I had expected it to go for a lot longer than that. I went to Curry's, they just shrugged and said "It's out of warranty", so I had to get a new Fridge Freezer (not from Curry's either).

Not many people bother to write reviews after a couple of years of having something, but no matter how wonderful it was to start off with, I really wished I hadn't brought a BEKO.
