The Big Issue With This Appliance Is The Customer
The big issue with this appliance is the customer service and after sales care.
A realtively simple electrical component (circuit board) broke. The engineer duly arrived and ordered a replacement. Over 7 weeks later (try living without a fridge for 2 months) Baumatic refuse to give a date when I can expect the repairs to be carried out. They clearly have no idea when the spares stock will be available. You would think I'd bought a rare vintage sports car, not a fridge freezer.
Appalled at the statements made on their own website re. customer service. Don't trust them to provide a good quality post sales service.

I had exactly the same poor service just outside guarantee period so I had to pay £89 labour and they could still not fix it. They refused to refund my labour charge only ofering me an equivilant discount off a new fridge. I am now taking them to the small claims court.
