Do Not Buy

It started off ok, but after approximately 6 weeks of usage the motor packed in. Do not waste time or money on this product, invest in a higher priced product as you really do get what you pay for. My next purchase will be a Vitamix professional 300, priced a £500. I use a blender a lot so it has to be durable.

My Dad's Now Managed To Write-off Three Of These.

My dad's now managed to write-off three of these. Each time the fault has been related to the collar at the base of the jug. In two cases bits of the collar snapped off. In the other case it just completely broke away from the jug.

The service offered by Breville to replace or refund has been generally poor.

Just One Thing Wrong With This Lovely Blender. The

Just one thing wrong with this lovely blender. There should have been a tool included to remove the spindle. It is so difficult to catch hold of the black plastic piece to remove the working pieces for washing and then fitting afterwards. Perhaps the designers didn't use the blender after it was made.

Pros: Glass Jug Is Really Tough And Sturdy, Good Q

Pros: Glass jug is really tough and sturdy, good quality. The motor is awesome I haven't put anything in it yet that it didn't blend to puree, including seeds and ice. Looks great. Sturdy base.

Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS POORLY CONSTRUCTED RUBBISH WHATEVER YOU DO! The seal drops out very easily and liquid spills everywhere. Then after 6 to 12 months the seal breaks completely. It was expensive so I'm now left trying to buy a spare blade and seal unit.

Shame because apart from this technical flaw it could've got five stars.

I wish I'd read a review before I WASTED MY HARD EARNED MONEY on it!!

I got a Breville BL26. It leaks easily and as a result is not working anymore, only lasted 6 months. I found that the large washer kept coming off causing leaks.

Despite Having A 'chop' Button, We Found The Antho

Despite having a 'chop' button, we found the Anthony Worrall Thompson blender unable to chop nuts. There's only one blade and approx 2 ins of space beneath it - the food you're trying to chop gets lodged there! It would have been easier to bash the nuts with rolling pin! I think the term 'Intelligent Blender' is misleading. Let's face it - lots of functions and just one fixed blade is incompatible with such claims. Overrated and over-promoted.

Fro Me The Breville Bl26 Is Not Worth Buying At Al

Fro me the Breville BL26 is not worth buying at all. Too heavy on top, cheap plastic mount breaks easily and causes leaks and associated mess! It is better to buy a really cheap blender and buy a new one when it stops working.
