I use this in my bedroom. Really helps move the AC around. The low and medium settings are hard to hear. The high setting does make white noise but I find it helps me sleep and I've grown used to the sound. Really nice looking and solid fan.

The oscillating feature is nice on such a small fan and it glides smoothly. The three fans speeds are distinct - soft, moderate and strong. Although it's plastic it seems like a sturdy construction. I think all Vornado fans are a tad overpriced.

This is a good personal fan. It is quite powerful fan for such a small unit.
