I Bought The Hotpoint Portable Air Cond Back In No
I bought the hotpoint portable air cond back in November 09... Since day one of usage it has been filling up within 1 and a half to two hours of use. Not to mention all the leaking onto my carpet. Everytime we have wheeled the air cond out to be drained a large amount of water would be leaking out... I have finally decided to call The Good Guys to see what can be done. I can't get a refund but I can get a replacement. So hopefully this new repl one will last longer than two hours... Def not worth the $800 i spent on this ar cond...

Wheels Damaged My Baltic Pine Floors Leaving Deep
Wheels damaged my Baltic pine floors leaving deep grooves in the wood. Apparently I should not have wheeled the "Portable" Air Conditioner. Hotpoint will not return calls to me or the store where I bought it. Thankfully the store refunded my money. However no one will take responsibility for my damaged floors.
The unit leaked within 3 hours of use and is not recommended for temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius ??
