Boots Cartridges Used To Be Good, But They Seem To
Boots cartridges used to be good, but they seem to have changed the design and quality. One cartridge used to filter about 80 litres of water before my clear glass kettle began to limescale up. Now it's about 50 litres! What's happened Boots? This means a more frequent change and hidden price increase!
I agree. Boots no longer make filters specifically for hard water areas, just one type for all water hardnesses. The results are obvious...they are not good for hard water areas.

The Boots Universal Fit Hard Water Filter Cartridge is a very good hard water filter. Does what it says on the packet. Good Price. Especially on 3 for 2 offers. No bad points that I know of.
