Swan Teasmade STM100N

Have been tesmade user since 1984. This latest version is like sleeping with a searchlight in the bedroom, it casts a shadow on ceiling. Two covers are provided for clock face - then you can't read the time! All buttons glow a vivid blue, even more so when alarm is set. I cover teasmade with curtain material remant so i can get a good night's sleep. Reading light insufficient for me. Teapot poor pourer and smaller than previous model. Response from Swan took nearly 3 months. Appears to have been insufficiently tried and tested, for example in simulated sleeping conditions - a darkened room!
