Before getting this Russell Hobbs 10789, I had a model k3 appn n1352 which has lasted for years, but it is not cordless, so decided to update, what a disappointment this other Russell Hobbs is, the handle became loose in a very short time and it is so slow to boil. I'm very disappointed with this model.

Looks made me buy a Russell Hobbs 10789, but the handle came loose, the magnetic lid fell off and this kettle scaled up quickly. It actually lasted less than six months!

Worth the extra money (outlasts the cheapies). The on/off switch is plastic and prone to breakage (mine broke after 18mths but replacement part supplied at no cost by agent).
