Morphy Richards 43015 Manhattan

I have had this kettle for nearly four years and it has given good service. As usual the plastic catch has disintegrated so I contacted Morphy Richards for a replacement lid. No they say you have to buy a new kettle. The kettle itself is in perfect working order and only requires a lid catch. Now a perfectly good stainless steel kettle has to go to the tip. I give Morphy Richards zero points for their concerns over the environment so when your Morphy Richards plastic lid fails dont bother trying to get a replacement part. I won't be using them again.

We purchased both the kettle and the toaster, but we are returning the kettle to the retailer.

We replaced our Dualit 72302 kettle for this one - one of the best kettle-purchasing decisions I've recently made! As you can see from the 'good points' I would highly recommend this kettle.
