Give This Model A Wide Birth
Purchased this Krups model in early Feb 2011. All went well till August 2011, when a leak developed - a very nasty leak not just a bit of seepage, just at the bottom of the handle. I returned it to the purchase outlet (Home & Cook) and they replaced it - but with the original guarantee time to run - eg 6 months.
Here we are, 4th Feb 2012, 2 days out of guarantee and the replacement kettle has developed the same problem. Nasty leak just under the handle. I have spoken with the outlet and the manager is prepared to do something for me - but I am not taking the same kettle - they are not in stock anyway.
Avoid like the plague. They are not durable and exchanges are always a pain and time consuming. Home & Cook manager was very helpful. Not his fault the model seems consistant only in unreliabilty.

Krups Flf2 Is Utter Rubbish. Lasted Only A Few We
Krups FLF2 is utter rubbish. Lasted only a few weeks from purchase before a huge leak developed from below the handle.
Badly made, failed within weeks of purchase. Over-complicated lid mechanism (why does it need the "shutter" on the spout? No other kettle needs this).

Generally I Like This Krups Flf2 Kettle, We Have H
Generally I like this Krups FLF2 kettle, we have had it two years and it's still pleasing to own and use. There is 2 slight issues, sometimes the lid doesn't want to go back on easily and the switch is "soft" not a positive action. But despite of this I recommend it!
